Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, offers business, liberal
arts and sciences, law courses at its online Web site http:www.niuonline.niu.edu.
Courses also include professional education, specialization in
nursing, and midwifery. Students may earn a master's degree in education
completely online.
University of St. Francis, Joliet, offers its entire MBA program
online. A bachelor of science degree in health arts is online through
the university's locations in 18 states. Graduate courses in management,
continuing education management, and health services administration
are also available online.
Judson (College) Online, Elgin, will offer summer courses online:
Ecology and Environmental Problems with Lab; New Testament; Skill
Development and Prior Learning, Assessment, Expository Writing;
Critical Thinking and Writing; Multicultural Perspectives in American
Women Writers; The Inklings: C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles
Williams, and Their Circle; Mathematical Investigation I; PreCalculus
I/College Algebra; Business Systems Analysis and Design; Astronomy
with optional lab. Waubonsee Community College, Sugar Grove, will
hold these summer courses online: Orientation to Deafness, Criminal
Justice AIDS Awareness, English 102.
About 10 new online courses for a total of 19 classes are under
development for fall.
University of Wisconsin-Parkside plans to offer online courses
in the fall. Classes will be video taped and seen on the Internet
through streaming video.
This fall, Robert Morris College, Naperville, Chicago and Orland
Park, will begin offering current students some online courses in
varied academic disciplines and career-related topics.
